- August 7 - Each year, the second week in August is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of health centers and their dedicated staff to our health care system and to our communities. As in years past, health centers across the state are joining in the week-long celebration by hosting a variety of events, including health fairs, educational sessions, health screenings and open houses.

March 17 - Nearly 20 legislators joined dozens of representatives from community health centers across the state for MPCA’s Legislative Breakfast. The event provided legislators with the chance to meet the staff and community board members driving Maine’s community health centers, while also providing a forum for health centers to share their successes, challenges and concerns as they move forward in 2009.
