Maine's Student and Resident Experiences and Rotations in Community Health (SEARCH) Program provides primary care training experiences at rural community health centers and other community based primary care sites around the state. SEARCH was established to increase the number of primary care clinicians in the nation's medically underserved areas.
Family Practice residents and medical, dental, dental hygienist, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant students are eligible to apply for rotations. Students and residents with an interest in rural, community-based primary care are welcome to apply to SEARCH.
