For more than a decade, MPCA has worked with health centers, government partners and experts at the state and national level to:
- Improve the individual patient experience and empower patients to manage and organize their own care in partnership with a team of health center staff.
- Guide patients through Maine’s health care system to enhance their overall health care journey and to ensure the right type of care is available at the right time.
- Recognize the significant ties between mental health and physical wellness and to treat patients as a whole by integrating behavioral health care services with medical care teams in health center settings.
- Lead health centers in capturing cost and quality data to identify how to leverage data to quality of health care and decrease overall health care costs.
