In addition to representing the collective voices of health care organizations across the state providing care to all, MPCA also seeks partnerships with State programs, local organizations and funders sharing our interest in improving access to high quality healthcare.
The most recent of these partnerships have resulted in the following programs which have collectively, assisted over 700 uninsured or underinsured residents with quitting smoking, screened nearly 1,000 uninsured women for breast cancer and nearly 800 uninsured women for cervical cancer and will soon assist health center patients with meeting the citizenship and identity verification requirements now in place under the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005.
